My Journey in campus ๐

Whenever I heard someone talk about campus I was always curious to know really if the things they say is true or maybe exaggerated . The time that I had waited like an old owl had finally arrived, had received a confirmation letter from the most popular university in the country not only popular but also the only university above the sea level (Technical University of Mombasa) was filled with lots of joy couldn’t even wait longer to go to see the things people talked of since the university was located in Mombasa a place every human being dreamed of visiting. My journey at Technical University of Mombasa known as (T.U.M)began back when I started to study my diploma in mass Communications. I chose Tum because of its flexibility of the course, which allowed me to select a variety of units to match my interest.
I really enjoy campus life, especially the interaction with other students, and having fun together especially during the time we don’t have classes, I also love listening to experienced lecturers sharing their knowledge and expertise. My lecturers are amazing and provides excellent mentoring though sometimes some are harsh but we cope up with it .
I’m so glad I studied mass Communication because it is a very challenging course. I have to gain knowledge in all aspects of communication (such as photography, advertising , online staff , etc). The fact that I have been exposed to such areas makes me a very strong candidate in the job market.
Tum has taught me many things, including priority setting and the importance of networking. Indeed, to succeed, a person needs not only the skills and the experience, but also the connections.Looking back on my journey at Tum, I can’t believe how much I’ve learned! Even though it seemed so hard at first, studying at university is so much fun and one of the best feelings of accomplishment. Tum has supported and helped me grow in different ways unlike when I joined . I have learned to be independent and make my own decision without anyone’s influence.
Apart from fun ,have also encountered some challenges that I did not expect but due to the things that I learned I overcame them . Campus life has thought me how to handle some things that I couldn’t believe I will actually do it . It is kind of a tension and sweaty but with ones little thinking things can be little easy . If I was to be born again and again I would chose to go to the university because of the experience.
